I would most hardily recommend and promote Don Cox as an emcee, DJ, announcer, or any other such related endeavor. Don’s personable style creates a warm and friendly atmosphere, where people feel comfortable while they are being entertained. For the past six years Don has acted as the Emcee at our annual 4th of July Parade and Picnic at the Episcopal church of St. Peter and St. Paul in Arlington , Texas. The Parade has become the signature event of our local chapter of the Brotherhood of St. Andrews and in recent years the annual attendance has been well over 200. Don not only handles his duties in a most professional manner he also insures that all present, from toddlers to teenagers to senior citizens, have a good time, which is after all our primary goal. This is accomplished come rain or shine. Along with providing a wide variety of entertaining music Don also personally announces each parade entry, making everyone feel very special. Don lends his considerable talent and time cheerfully each year, helping make this a very special event. Along with the Parade and Picnic Don has also donated his services time and time again over the years at various other church functions. Here again, Don is not “just” and emcee or DJ but he is a critical part of the entire event. We’re very fortunate indeed to have an individual of Don’s generous character and special talent in our church.
